Its passive design allows full optimisation via external amplification and DSP, making the EMS-101X a powerful, refined solution for professional sound systems where output, control and aesthetics all matter.
The EMS-101X uses a 10â neodymium low-frequency driver paired with a 1â exit neodymium high-frequency compression driver, mounted on a rotatable constant-directivity waveguide for flexible horizontal or vertical deployment. This configuration delivers excellent projection, clarity and consistent coverage, making it equally effective for speech intelligibility and full-range music. Performance is rated at approximately 75 Hz â 20 kHz (±3 dB) with a maximum peak SPL of around 130 dB, supported by 400 W RMS / 800 W programme power handling and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.
