The EM Acoustics EMS-61 is a compact, two-way passive reflex-loaded loudspeaker designed for high-quality sound reinforcement where size, clarity and control matter. Finished in durable black, it is ideal for theatres, corporate AV, houses of worship, hospitality venues and discreet installed systems.
The EMS-61 combines a 6.5â neodymium low-frequency driver with a 1â exit neodymium high-frequency compression driver, mounted on a rotatable 90° x 60° constant-directivity waveguide for flexible horizontal or vertical deployment. Its multi-angled birch plywood enclosure delivers a noticeably more natural and controlled sound than plastic alternatives, making it equally effective for speech and music.
With a frequency response of 80 Hz â 20 kHz (±3 dB) and a maximum peak SPL of 124 dB, the EMS-61 performs confidently as a standalone loudspeaker or as part of a larger system when paired with subwoofers. The passive design allows system designers full control via external amplification and DSP, while the robust textured coating and stainless-steel fixings ensure long-term reliability in demanding environments.
